Federica Zanello, soprano

Federica Zanello, soprano, graduated in Canto Lirico at the Conservatorio A. Boito of Parma. She have done university studies at the musicology school in Parma. At the age of 20 she won the first prize in the international lyric contest “Music World” of Fivizzano. She resulted finalist in the lyric contest XX° Concorso Internazionale Ismaele Voltolini.
She took one Master Class with the maestro Michele Pertusi and she studied with
the famous soprano Mirella Freni.
She took part in the realization with the Teatro Regio di Parma of the play “La Camilla, ossia il sotterraneo” created by Ferdinando Paer, under the direction of the maestro Roberto Tolomelli.
Under the direction Arturo Sacchetti, she sang at the Rassegna Internazionale di Musica Sacra “Virgo Lauretana” in Loreto.
She took part in the concert with the Toscanini Orchestra, directed by the maestro Ennio Morricone.Under the direction of maestro Aversano she performed the Haendel’s Messiah with the Orchestra Giovanile Parmigiana.
She sang in the roles of Gilda in Rigoletto, Despina in Cosi’fan tutte, Adina e Giannetta nell’Elisir d’Amore, Serpina nella Serva Padrona, Lola in Cavalleria Rusticana, Violetta in Traviata.
In Venice she sings in recital with the company “Venice Opera” and Ensemble I Vituosi di Venezia,
In the 2005 she inaugurate the XXII edition of the international Festival Monteverdiano at the Teatro Ponchielli of Cremona with the participation of Philippe Daverio. In Cremona she sing with Liuteria in Festival e with Rassegna Bel Canto.
She sang with Teatro Regio in Parma; Teatro Ponchielli in Cremona;Teatro Sociale and Teatro Verdi in Mantova; Teatro Verdi in Pisa; Teatro del Giglio in Lucca; Teatro Goldoni in Livorno.
From 2006 she has a collaboration with the Ensemble La Variazione
She recorded a CD of never performed pieces of Paisiello with the BONGIOVANNI EDITIONS.
She recorded for TAWA INTERNATIONAL a CD with opera arias with the Soncino Orchestra directed by L.Valenti.
She recorded for TACTUS RECORDS a CD of the Pergolesi opera “La Serva Padrona” directed by M.Dallara with the ensamble of Teatro Regio di Parma.
She recorded in 2008 a CD with the famous Opera Arias called: "Le donne nell'opera italiana" with the ensemble Le Pleiadi.
In June 2009 sing with Napoli San Carlo Orchestra in the Capri Opera Festival and win the ASLICO Price given from Mrs Giovanna Lomazzi. She teaches at the Gerundia Music Academy in Lodi (Milan). In Japan she give lessons in opera singing Masterclasses at the Bunkyo Hal in Tokyo and at the Bel Core Music Academy in Osaka.
